It was not unusual for a 5 figure sum to be quoted to move and field on a form to a new position. Insane!!! Lucky for me, I start a new role on Monday that I am very excited about (more on this soon), but I am happy to say that it is a small company. So I am hoping for a dynamic and proactive environment... What amazed me Dean, was the exuberant costs to do anything. I much prefer working for small companies. Large companies are often burdened by too much process. They never seem to take the time to evaluate their processes and fix or eliminate them. Sadly, on more than one occasion, I've done work for a large company and wondered how they are able to make money when it's so difficult to get anything done. I’m with you, Rob. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I do think there is such an opportunity for Optus to not only be a leader but an innovator in this space, and I do hope they rediscover that!
