Recruited by the Board and reporting to Lars Rasmussen (Google Maps/Wave), responsibilities included taking an early alpha test platform and re-developing it as a production platform that would be used by hundreds of brands to manage customer relationships within a social graph.
Established and managed a local and offshore development team and was additionally charged with establishing a baseline platform architecture for the organisation. The platform required interfacing into several disparate retail affiliate tracking systems and reporting tools. Delivery was bound to securing 2nd round of funding for the organisation.
Head of Application delivery & Architecture (1-Stop Communications Pty Ltd)

Initiated the Project Office that is responsible for $10 Million worth of projects annually. Primary mandate was to transform a project driven organisation into a “product” focus organisation by defining product roadmaps and restructuring project teams into product groups.
Online Portal Architect & Agile Coach (Optus Mobile)

Key member of the Online Portal Teams and responsible for evolving the RAD (Rapid Application Team) into using Agile Methodologies. Worked with Enterprise Portal Systems (BEA WebLogic Portal and 3rd Party integration suites) and the internal teams to deliver against aggressive timelines required by the business. Improved turn around of Portal Changes by 22%.
Worked with the online producers to implement usability processes including; User Centric and Customer Centric Design, focus groups and usability testing, markup design and implementation, guidelines for accessibility and usability that was consistent across all online assets, and implementation of tools to ensure a defined process was implemented across all project initiatives.
Finally, was responsible with providing usability consulting of the Developer Portal initiative that was launched in November 2009. This also included implementation of User Interface designs after usability testing and working on Customer Centric Design implementation.

Providing professional consultative services to start-ups and corporate organisations alike around agile product and project development, next generation platforms, open source and web/enterprise strategies and practices.
Provided a case study and research white paper for the National Australia Bank around strategic opportunities and roadmap on Social Media & Networks and opportunities to integrate a solution as part of an over-arching Enterprise Architecture.
CTO (Aegeon Corp)

Responsible for Business Development including securing of projects and engagements, negotiation and contracts. Implementation of all business processes, (Agile) development methodology, and engagement methodology. Later, was responsible for all Product vision and strategy, as well as execution of product and delivery teams. Managed multiple engineers, architects and testers across Sydney, Melbourne Guagnzhou China and Southern California.
Identified an opportunity to develop an Enterprise Knowledge Management & Mashup Server called Spaceo.us. Devised the product strategy and managed the product and its development. Spaceo.us is the flagship product for the organisation and was responsible for securing Angel funding.
Responsible for building a consulting business and working with several blue-chip customers including, Telstra, Sensis, NAB and Lonely Planet. These accounts were responsible for 95% of the revenue for Aegeon.
Successfully implemented Agile as the default development methodology within several customers, and was unique in transitioning management and executives to an Agile business environment, by providing services as an Agile Coach and Scrum Master.
Program Manager (QBE Insurance Limited)
Sydney, AU (Feb 2005 – Dec 2005)
Initially engaged as a project manager to implement Remedy within the organisation and was later responsible for the transition of the whole business to an ITIL compliant model through the management of a program of works.
Successfully deployed BNC Remedy across an enterprise of 5,000 employees. As well as transitioned the business to an ITIL compliant service, which improved call response times by 78% and issue resolution times by 46%.
Program Manager (The Australian Wheat Board Limited)
Sydney, AU (Mar 2003 – Feb 2005)
Responsible for managing portfolio of work between IT and the Trading Group, and ultimately was required to manage a program of work for the Trading Group, reporting to the Executive Leadership and Board of Directors.
Managed a portfolio of over $56 Million in projects and was personally responsible for delivery of a $40 Million project to rationalise and improve trading systems globally. Project required management of vendor relationships, and was a collaboration with SAP, IBM, UBS and Accenture.
Implemented technology systems for an Over The Counter (OTC) trading desk around the globe that was responsible for saving the organisation $1.2 million in trade errors within the first month.
Responsible for engaging Microsoft to accept AWB as an “early release” partner for MS CMS 2003, and managed the successful delivery of a $5 Million CMS and Sharepoint implementation.
